The Grammar Schools in Shropshire, Walsall and Wolverhampton Consortium are responsible for the tests.
It is important to note that your child will only be considered for a place at any of the grammar schools within the Consortium of Shropshire, Walsall and Wolverhampton if the school is listed on your Common Application Form, submitted to your home Local Authority by the due date. Therefore, please ensure that you complete your home, Local Authority secondary school preference form CAF1 and submit by the due return date.
Information about entry in September 2020 will be published on the grammar schools' websites, see below.
In addition to completing the school's application form for the test, you must complete a secondary school admission form at your local authority.
To register for the entrance test, you will need to complete an on-line registration. Please use the following link:Online Application Form
Before starting the application you will need to find the primary school's DfE number. This can be found on the DfE's 'Get information about schools' website and the primary school name needs entering into the 'Name or reference number' field. The link to the site is: Local Authory
